Interview Questions

What inspired me to be a photographer:

I’ve always been the one to pull the phone out and start taking pictures, since 2012 my friends would always ask me to edit their pictures, and it was until recently that I decided to pursue it 100%.

How do you make people comfortable in front of the camera:

I give them my respect from the beginning. I know there’s plenty of times it’s a models first time in front of a camera. I love to let them freestyle and get comfortable and watch as they grow into their confidence as the shoot continues. In Albuquerque, I work with a lot of women often, and I understand it can be a nervous feeling to shoot with a male photographer but when you working with trap you’ll always have a good experience.

How do you tie the artists needs/wants with your style:

Most times, I like to read the vibe an artist gives off, listen and determine what will work for them in their shoots. What will connect to who they are within photos that create story-telling moments.

What is your process when you set a shoot up:

Most often I’ll get reached out about someone liking my work, they’ll let me know about their vision and what work they’d like done. I’ll give them my rundown on rates, availability, etc. And then I’ll bring it to life with my own twist to it.
